Established in 2004 by my partners and I, all of which have been die-hard gamers for years. Just remember one thing... we don't play around! Summer HoursAs the days grow longer as we approach summer, so will the days at The Portal. We are putting our summer hours into effect Monday May 4. At this time all our weekday hours (Monday-Thrusday) will be extended to 9pm. Check the Hours menu on the left to see our new schedule and our Holiday closings.World of Warcraft CCGThe World of Warcraft CCG is another in a long line of collectible card games. For the fans of the on-line World of Warcraft game this game should be a perfect fit. Due to the increased interest in World of Warcraft CCG events we have replaced our Naruto and Dragon Ball Z Sunday game slot with WOW. Sanctioned tournaments will be held at 2pm on Sundays.New ForumsOur forums have been received very well, so well in fact that two additional ones have been added. A forum dedicated solely to Magic: the Gathering, complimenting our new pre-release events. Another more general forum to cover all other CCGs has also been added. 40K 'Ard BoyzThe Portal will be proudly hosting its first Warhammer 40K 'Ard Boyz Tournament at the Nancy Run Fire Company. Therefore there will be plenty of space for tables, in addition food and drink will be available for sale. The top three (3) players from this event go on to the semi-finals. Check out our forums and Games-Workshop for more details on this event.Pre-release EventsThe Nancy Run Fire Company is our new location for holding our regularly scheduled pre-release events. Two major pre-releases will be taking place in the next few months: Magic 2010 Core Release and Zendikar. Come join us on Sunday July 12th and September 27th for these two exciting events.
